The Gardener’s Cottage, our luxury 2 bed holiday home, offers you the chance to relax in comfort while enjoying the natural surroundings or to take advantage our central location and enjoy a host of local attractions. By heading slightly further afield, Glasgow, Edinburgh, St Andrews and Aberdeen, to name but a few, are within easy reach. Nearby motorway links and with Dunblane Railway Station within walking distance, it’s easy to explore Scotland from our holiday home.

Historic

If history is of interest to you, then there’s plenty nearby that will appeal. With Dunblane Cathedral and The Dunblane Museum within walking distance. Doune Castle, as featured in the Outlander TV series is 5 miles away. While Stirling Castle, one of the most historic castles in Scotland is 6 miles away. Or pay a visit to The Wallace Monument, one of Stirling’s most distinctive landmark’s – 5 miles.

Family Fun

Blair Drummond Safari & Adventure Park (9 miles) appeals to all ages with plenty to see and do. Briarlands Farm (10 miles) has lots of outdoor activities and farm animals to visit, while the indoor tearoom is the ideal place to refuel. Wellsfield Farm Park (11.5 miles) offers a range of activities for all weathers. 7 miles away in Stirling, there is the Vue cinema and The Peak sports village.

Outdoors

Hill walking, cycling, sailing, fishing, horse riding and golf are all available close by. Dunblane has its own golf course and tennis club while the world famous Gleneagles championship golf course is 13.5 miles away. The Stirlingshire area is home to many Munros for a day of hill walking. The nearby town of Callander has plenty of opportunity for cycling and fishing too.

Further Afield

If you would like to venture further afield, our holiday home is within easy reach of both rail and road links and the perfect base for day trips. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Dundee, St Andrews, Aberdeen, Inverness are all well worth a visit. Stirlingshire is known as the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’ if you would like to venture up north.

Outstanding Scenery

There’s an abundance of outstanding scenery on our doorstep at the Gardener’s Cottage. The Trossachs National Park, Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and Loch Lomond all offer outstanding views and are a great day out. Each location has plenty of nature trails, water activities and fun for the whole family.

Rest & Recharge

If you want to recharge your batteries, the Gardener’s Cottage is the perfect place. Enjoy relaxing in front of the wood burner or in the garden where rabbits, pheasants, squirrels and deer are regular visitors. The tranquil and private gardens of our holiday home make it the ideal place to relax.
